The Brewers and right-hander Jacob Waguespack are in agreement on a minor league contract, reports Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Waguespack has pitched in parts of three major league seasons and a pair of NPB campaigns over in Japan. He’s fanned 18.9% of opponents against a 10.1% walk rate and kept 41.4% of the batted balls against him on the ground. He totaled 33 Triple-A frames between Tampa Bay and Philly, recording a combined 2.45 ERA, 24.4% strikeout rate and 8.7% walk rate. Waguespack gives the Brewers some depth in both areas or a possible candidate to work in a swingman role.
