The Astros are in agreement with lefty reliever Tom Cosgrove on a minor league contract, reports Jon Heyman of The New York Post. Cosgrove has pitched in the majors in each of the past three seasons. His underlying numbers weren’t nearly as impressive, and Cosgrove hasn’t gotten much of an MLB look in the past two seasons. He elected minor league free agency at year’s end. While Houston has lacked left-handed relief depth over the past few seasons, that looks like a strength after last year.
