KPRC 2 Houston’s Aaron Wilson reported on Thursday that the Rams are hiring Raymond “Bubba” Ventrone as their special teams coach. Ventrone served as the Browns’ assistant head coach/ special teams coach from 2023 to 2025. After the season concluded, Cleveland fired head coach Kevin Stefanski, creating an opening for Ventrone to explore other opportunities. He returned to the Patriots as an assistant special teams coach from 2015 to 2017, then moved to the Indianapolis Colts in 2018 to serve as their special teams coordinator. The Rams fired special teams coach Chase Blackburn on Dec. 20 after the unit struggled for most of the season.
