Spanish coach Pep Guardiola, manager of English club Manchester City, has once again shown public support for the Palestinian people amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
Guardiola made his stance clear today at a conference held alongside a charity campaign supporting Palestine in Barcelona.
Guardiola argued that international silence deepens the harm:What the bombs cause — and what they want to cause — is silence.
He stressed that taking action begins with refusing to stay silent:We have to take a step forward.
It also increases pressure on governments and international bodies to act, warning that silence or indifference amounts to a betrayal of basic human rights.
