A Washington County man was saved from a fire thanks to the selfless actions of Good Samaritans. Kevin Zellars, a retired member of the Granville Volunteer Fire Company, acted heroically when he saw a house on Main Street in Salem engulfed in flames. Zellars and his wife Amy were driving by when they noticed the fire. Zellars’ quick actions ensured Phillips’ safety. Zellars’ story is a reminder of the importance of being in the right place at the right time and acting selflessly.
