CEDAR RAPIDS — A Marshalltown man who illegally possessed nearly three kilograms of methamphetamine was sentenced Wednesday to more than 12 years in federal prison.
Marcos Servin, 23, received the prison term after a Sept. 3, 2025, guilty plea to possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute.
Evidence at the sentencing hearing showed that law enforcement officers stopped Servin as he was driving on Oct. 23, 2024.
Servin was sentenced in Cedar Rapids by United States District Court Chief Judge C.J.
Servin is being held in the United States Marshal’s custody until he can be transported to a federal prison.
