The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) says it has arrested a man who allegedly brandished a hypodermic needle at staff at a downtown dollar store.
Officers were called to the Dollarama near Granville and West Pender around 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Police say the suspect pulled out the needle after staff confronted him and asked him to leave the store.

31-year-old Emaan Mirhashemi has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
