It has been over four decades since 21-year-old Kim Stolberg was found stabbed to death, and the Richmond RCMP is renewing its appeal for information that could help identify whoever is responsible. On Dec. 4, 1985, around 8 p.m., Stolberg was on the phone with her sister at her family’s office in Richmond, located on River Road between Capstan Way and Cambie Road. Gene Hsieh, Richmond RCMP Major Crime Commander, says someone out there must know something. “The video aims to reach both current residents and anyone who may have moved away in the decades since the homicide but still holds information that could help move the case forward,” the Richmond RCMP said. “Viewers are encouraged to share the video to help reach a broad audience.”Anyone with any information is asked to call the Richmond RCMP Serious Crime Unit (SCU) at 604-204-4600 or email RichmondSCU@rcmp-grc.gc.ca.
