This time a teenage girl claims at her lowest moment, CYFD workers turned their back on her. Her attorney, Benjamin Gubernick, claims his client didn’t find any hope in the home, instead just conflict and stress. The teen claims she was dazed, hurt and bleeding after the assault, when her alleged attacker took her back to Hope House. The lawsuit goes on to say that instead of helping the girl, the Hope House workers locked her outside with only a blanket. The girl claims they told her it was her punishment for leaving.
