The renewed backing ensures that players, officials and support staff involved in Petra’s expanding football calendar will be protected as activity ramps up across the country. With several competitions scheduled throughout the year, the insurance coverage is expected to play a key role in safeguarding participants as school and tertiary-level football continues to grow. The announcement was made yesterday at Demerara Mutual’s Avenue of the Republic head office, where Sales Marketing Coordinator Oceola Van Doimen said the decision to continue the collaboration was driven by the impact observed during the previous year.
