Guyana’s Under-17 girls continued their strong start to the Concacaf U17 Girls Qualifiers with a composed 2–0 victory over Aruba in their second Group D fixture last night at the Stadion Guillermo Prospero Trinidad, Oranjestad, Aruba. The win followed Guyana’s opening-round 1–1 draw against regional powerhouse Jamaica and places the young Lady Jags firmly in contention as the group stage intensifies. Guyana dominated large stretches of the contest, creating numerous scoring opportunities before finally converting their superiority into goals. Guyana set the early tempo, with Alexaudria Chasles at the centre of most attacking moves.
