The local squash community came together for a successful fundraising event on Sunday 28 December at Shropshire Squash Club, which saw an impressive £1,550 raised in aid of Severn Hospice.
Shropshire Squash Club raised £1,550 for Severn Hospice in DecemberThe charity fundraising day, held annually between Christmas and New Year each year, brought together members of Shropshire Squash Club, Shrewsbury Squash & Racketball Club, Castle Country Club, and friends from across the local squash community for a day of competitive and social squash, all in support of a worthy cause.
First held in December 1999, the open has become a much-loved annual tradition, combining sport, camaraderie, and fundraising for charities that matter to the local community.
