A man was arrested on suspicion of drug dealing in Wellington on Thursday, 29 January, following a proactive stop by officers in the new drugs team. Officers from the Proactive North Serious Organised Crime (SOC) and drugs team were in the Telford area targeting suspected class A drug dealing activity. They arrested a 22 year old man on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drug. Detective Sergeant Steve Miller said: “Today, officers from the drugs team targeted suspected Class A drug dealers operating in the Telford area. “We located and arrested a man in possession of crack cocaine, heroin, and approximately £13,000 in cash at an address in the town.
