Corn growers say they’re not giving up on the fight to get year-round E15 through Congress after another failed attempt in the House. In fact, they received a boost from President Trump earlier this week in Iowa. “Japan will now allow the United States to supply up to 100 percent of automobile ethanol and import large amounts of avation biofuels from the United States. “I am trusting Speaker Mike Johnson and [Senate Majority] Leader John Thune to find a deal that works for farmers, consumers, and refiners, including small and mid-sized refiners—to get [year-round] E15 approved, and they’re working on it. They’re very close to getting it done.”Trump added if that bill supporting year-round E15 makes it to his desk, he’ll get it signed.
