Calgary police say two drivers will be heading to court after officers clocked them at dangerously high speeds on major city routes last weekend. Traffic officers stopped the first driver last Friday, just before 8 p.m., after spotting a vehicle racing northbound on Stoney Trail at 114 Avenue SE. Police say the car was travelling 177 km/h in a 100 km/h zone. Roughly 20 hours later, on Saturday just after 4 p.m., another traffic officer pulled over a driver on 16 Avenue SW near Stoney Trail SW. The vehicle was recorded at 138 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
