The former child star—who is best known for playing the character of Alfalfa in the 1994 version of The Little Rascals—revealed that he, his wife Jill and their five children are living off-the-grid in Mountain View, Ark., after taking a "vow of poverty" and giving up the money he made as an actor. “My goal is to maintain a life as free of any need for an income as possible,” Bug told the Daily Mail in an interview published Jan. 28. “If there's a financial need that comes up, I'll go take some work or do an odd job, for cash to fulfill that need.”The 40-year-old shared that he and his family have been staying in a camper van with a water well and a generator while has been building them a house and a hydro-electrical dam, with the hope that they can go completely off-grid within six months.
