Student hit by car during demonstration outside Fremont High SchoolLINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A student was hit by a car during a demonstration outside Fremont High School on Thursday. Around 2:30 p.m., officers with the Fremont Police Department were called to the high school, where a protest was going on at the time. In a press release, the high school stated that the demonstration was a non-school-sponsored, student-led event, with faculty and staff supervising. It is critical that our country preserve the ability of people to safely protest.”I am praying for the high school student injured in this incident.
