Selma High student wins 2025 Congressional App Challenge for her "Community Support" appSELMA, Calif. (KFSN) -- The COVID pandemic was challenging for many people. Now a senior, the virtual classroom is behind her, but she drew on that experience when her Computer Science Teacher, Kate Long, encouraged her to enter the 2025 Congressional App Challenge. The challenge is open to all middle school and high school students. In an effort to reduce the stigma around mental health and make resources more accessible, she spent five days creating the app "Community Support." Because Natalie won the challenge, she has been invited to the U.S. Capitol in April.
