3-year-old hit by reversing construction truck in southwest Fresno, police sayFRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A three-year-old child is being taken to the hospital after being hit by a construction truck that was backing up at a home in southwest Fresno. Police say the incident happened in the backyard of a home on Stanislaus and Plumas streets just before 3 p.m. Thursday. Investigators say a construction worker was backing up when they hit the small child. The child was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center with a broken arm and head injuries. They are now being taken to Valley Children's Hospital.
