Four people have been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after they were mauled by their pet dog in Melbourne's west. The dog attacked two men and two women inside a home on James Cook Drive in Melton around 10pm yesterday, according to police.The dog was seized by council rangers, as was a second dog at the home. (Nine)A male in his 20s was treated for mid-body injuries and taken to Western Hospital Footscray in a stable condition. A female in her 30s was treated for lower to mid-body injuries and taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
