If federal agents leave the Twin Cities, they will be deployed elsewhere. Trump’s attacks have spurred resistance in the Twin Cities on the highest level we’ve seen against Trump so far. Scenes of people rallying around an ICE raid to defend the person being detained are commonplace in the Twin Cities. But more than that, we need a coordinated nationwide strike action with the organized labor movement in the driver’s seat. Strike action and civil disobedience can also be built in neighborhoods, on every block, linked to walkouts in every school and campus.
