Following the presentation Jan. 20 at Heppner Junior/Senior High School, DAC members divided into school-specific working groups. This allowed committee members to ‘stress test’ the proposed plans from the perspectives of students, teachers, and community members. Addie Cole, teacher at Irrigon Junior/Senior High School, said the collaborative effort encouraged the committee to think about their schools in new ways. The next DAC meeting is scheduled for Feb. 24 at Irrigon Junior/Senior High School.
