ON Wednesday, January 28 at approximately 5 p.m., Ridge Meadows RCMP was called to a residence in the 11700-block of 231 B Street for a report of an assault with a weapon. Officers located the alleged male suspect alone outside a residence in the area. Due to an abundance of caution, additional support was brought in to assist with removing the suspect from the residence. During the incident, police officers also arrested another individual for breaching the police perimeter after repeated warnings to clear the area. Ridge Meadows RCMP say they appreciate the public’s assistance in these matters, as it for the public and officers’ safety that these perimeters and precautions are in effect during an unfolding police incident.
