A small tuberculosis outbreak at Archbishop Riordan High School canceled two West Catholic Athletic League basketball games on Thursday, the Bay Area News Group has confirmed. Both Riordan boys and girls basketball teams had games scheduled against Sacred Heart Cathedral on Thursday night, but after concerns raised from SHC regarding the cases of Tuberculosis, both schools mutually decided to postpone Thursday’s matchups for another date. According to the MaxPreps website, the boys team is still scheduled to play Saturday’s game at Bellarmine. Both Riordan teams are in the midst of excellent seasons. The girls team is 12-5 and coming off a rivalry win over St. Ignatius on Tuesday.
