The Iowa State Track and Field Team will split up to compete in two different competitions as the indoor season kicks into high gear. Most of the Cyclones will be traveling southwest to the DeLoss Dodds Invitational in Manhattan, Kansas. It is known as one of the fastest indoor tracks, thanks to how it was constructed. One highlight of the event will be the indoor long jump, as it will host a competition in the World Athletics Indoor Tour Bronze Long Jump. This is not the first run-in for the long jump event between Willits and Bryant, as Bryant was the runner-up when Willits won the 2024 NCAA indoor long jump championship.
