The Skopje Prosecutor’s Office has opened a case over cardiologist Zhan Mitrev’s claims that former PM Zaev and former Health Minister Filipche tried to take over his health institution, Zhan Mitrev Clinic. As it pointed out in Wednesday’s press release, there are checks in relation to the case in order to determine whether there are elements of a crime that’s prosecuted ex officio. Earlier that day, VMRO-DPMNE had continued to call on prosecutors to take action. On the other hand, SDSM, in a press release, ironically said Mitrev had been nowhere to be found since he told the “lies” in the interview with Alfa.
