NEWSLETTERLiverpool ONE has reported its strongest festive trading performance to date with double-digit footfall growth and strong sales increases. The shopping destination was boosted by a 13% increase in the number of visits in the period while sales grew by 7%. There was a particularly strong performance between Christmas Day and New Year, when footfall rose by 15% year-on-year and sales surged by 36%. Donna Howitt, deputy estate director at Liverpool ONE, said: “We have delivered the strongest Golden Quarter to date, which is a true testament to the quality of brands and breadth of choice at Liverpool ONE. “But we know that the success of the Golden Quarter highlights the importance of bringing families together, whether they are enjoying our public spaces, taking part in seasonal activities or combining leisure and hospitality with shopping.
