British pop icon Robbie Williams will perform for the first time in North Africa at the 19th Jazzablanca Festival, scheduled to take place from July 2 to 11 in Casablanca, Morocco’s Press Agency (MAP) reported. A major figure in global music, Robbie Williams has enjoyed a career spanning over three decades, with 90 million albums sold worldwide, 15 UK number-one albums, and a record 18 BRIT Awards. The film, directed by Michael Gracey, received critical acclaim and an Oscar nomination, while the Netflix documentary series “Robbie Williams” gained international attention. He co-founded Soccer Aid for UNICEF, helping raise more than GBP 121 million (approximately USD 148 million) for global humanitarian projects. In 2025, he was named FIFA’s official musical ambassador, co-writing and performing the official anthem “Desire” with Laura Pausini.
