The flagbearer aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Bryan Acheampong, has called for unity ahead of tomorrow’s party primary and the 2028 general elections. This, according to him, would help the party regain power in 2028. The former Minister for Agriculture in the Akufo-Addo government noted that over two million voters stayed home during the 2024 general elections. He promised to heal the wounds of 2023 and ensure that every member of the NPP feels part of one family marching toward victory. Dr Acheampong’s appeal to delegates was both emotional and strategic, presenting himself as the unifying force who can rescue Ghana from the NDC in 2028.
