Rabat – A video was uploaded on YouTube last Saturday showing a woman in Egypt forced to get out of a swimming pool due to her swimsuit. After the growing controversy in France to ban women from covering themselves and promote wearing burkini on beaches, Nadine Abdulaziz was offended by the manager at a swimming pool in Ras Sudr, in Egypt. Then, after Abulaziz remained in the pool, the manager poured chlorine into the water to force her get out. Ironically, both women in France and in Egypt are being ridiculed for covering and revealing themselves, respectively, while they swim. In response, the Council of State, France’s highest court, suspended the burkini ban, saying that local mayors have no legal basis to justify the ban on full-body swimwear.
