Bishop Diego girls basketball clinched at least a second-place finish in the Tri-Valley League with a 56-28 win over Thacher on Thursday inside the Brick House. Bishop Diego continued to roll in the second half en route to the lopsided league victory. “We did a nice job pushing the ball in transition,” Bishop Diego head coach Jeff Burich said. Shea Gannon continued her standout season for Santa Barbara High with a double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds. “We are starting to understand the game a little bit better and see situations that need to be recognized,” Santa Barbara High head coach Andre Butcher said.
