1 Michigan hockey team immediately looked to recruiting in an attempt to return the program to its winning ways. Among their 14 new recruits entering this season, however, two major contributors have come from a different method — the transfer portal. The two already share a rare bond in being NCAA hockey players playing for the top-ranked team in the country. But adding the element of transfer portal only amplifies their bond as teammates at Michigan. Through the transfer portal, it seems that Naurato has gotten it right.
