Cool weekend ahead: Low wakeup temperatures will persist for peninsula with another incoming Arctic air massRiviera Maya, Q.R. — A further decrease in overnight temperatures is expected with the arrival of more cold air for Cancun and Riviera Maya. The large mass of Arctic air is quickly moving toward the Yucatan Peninsula and once here, will cause a further dip in early morning temperatures. The mass of Arctic air that propelled it will move toward the Gulf of Mexico, so daytime temperatures will begin to gradually increase. That mass of cold air is slowly moving away from the peninsula, only to be replaced by another system, cold front 32 for Saturday.
