['Graeme Strachan']
The Courier
Unseen images and video capture the demolition of Craigiebank Church in Dundee three years ago.
Craigiebank Church, at the junction of Greendykes Road and Craigie Avenue, was knocked down after chronic damp left the building beyond repair.
Craigiebank Church was the work of architect Frank Thomson, whose father, James Thomson, was the visionary city architect who designed the Caird Hall.
The furniture in Craigiebank Church was made of Austrian oak.
Craigiebank Church helped shape the community around it, through worship and big family events such as christenings, weddings and funerals.
