A flood bund and peat protection will be built into a multi-million-pound green transport hub beside the A90 Forfar bypass. The Forfar site covers 3.6 hectares adjacent to the southbound A90 Dundee to Aberdeen dual carriageway. Next week, Angus Council planning committee will consider a proposal of application notice (PAN) for the site. A flood storage zone to the north is to be provided as part of a strategic flood risk assessment for the wider business park. Early plans also show a flood bund around the north edge of the proposed EV hub.
