A violent assault outside a Lossiemouth pub left a man with an offset jaw, a court has been told. Adam Beattie’s vicious attack, which was sparked by a thrown pint glass, was caught on CCTV. His victim was left struggling to eat and open his mouth following the assault. Fiscal depute Victoria Silver told Sheriff Gary Aitken that the victim had thrown a pint glass outside the licensed premises, prompting Beattie to tell him to “pick it up”. The victim later went to Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin, where a left jaw fracture was confirmed along with other facial injuries and damage to his teeth.
