Save the date and sign up early: the San Bernardino County Public Defender’s Office is bringing their Mobile Defense Unit to the Joshua Tree Community Center to provide free legal services to residents. The San Bernardino County Public Defender has been holding events in rural areas to provide equitable access to free legal services including record clearing and expungements, clearing bench warrants, modifying summary probations and resolving outstanding fines. Spots are limited for the mobile defense program and you’ll want to reserve a space. In addition there will be assistance available for family law, child support and small claims. That’s happening at the Joshua Tree Community Center on Wednesday, February 11th from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m.
