Paula Leyland, 37, was employed as a home carer for the vulnerable 84-year-old victim after she fell and broke her hip three years ago. ‌Meanwhile, Leyland continued to access the widow's money, spending £800 on holidays, £70 on parking tickets, and £61 on tanning booths. ‌He said: "Immediate custody can sometimes have a significant harmful impact on a mother's children and that impact is described as such. You weren't thinking about that that at the time you were taking this money from the victim."
