The current tenure of the TTAADC is scheduled to end on April 18, 2026, prompting the Election Commission to begin preparatory work well in advance. As part of this process, officials from the Madhya Pradesh State Election Commission have already initiated ground-level assessments in Tripura. According to the Sepahijala district administration, Sanju Kumari, Deputy Secretary, and Priyanshi Bhanwar, Under Secretary of the State Election Commission, Madhya Pradesh visited the district to review the proposed warehouses identified for the storage of EVMs. Detailed discussions were also held regarding the transportation and logistical arrangements for bringing the EVMs from Madhya Pradesh to Tripura for the TTAADC polls. The exercise is seen as a crucial step in strengthening election preparedness ahead of the tribal council elections.
