Howard Payne University invites the public to an outdoor night of worship with Grammy-award winning musician Chris Tomlin, on Wednesday, April 15, at the Brownwood Event Center’s outdoor stage. “We are excited to host Chris Tomlin for this special concert experience,” said Dr. Cory Hines, university president. “This will be a great time for our community to gather and worship, and we are thankful to Chris Tomlin and his team for making this event possible.”Local churches are encouraged to bring groups to attend. TIME magazine heralded Chris Tomlin as the “most often sung artist in the world” as his music has inspired and uplifted an entire generation of believers. Tomlin is also the first Christian artist to reach the billion streams threshold on Pandora and was presented with its BILLIONAIRE award.
