Christi Burks, Principal of East Elementary in Brownwood ISD, has been named the 2026 Region 15 TEPSAN of the Year by the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA). Each year, members from the 20 TEPSA Regions throughout the state recognize a colleague for their exemplary service to the association. “We are proud to recognize Christi’s outstanding contributions to our Association,” said TEPSA Executive Director Harley Eckhart. “Members like Christi are the backbone of our organization, playing a pivotal role in shaping its direction and ensuring its success.
