AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. — Jon Wyss, fired by USDA as the executive director of the Washington office of the Farm Service Agency in October 2025, is now executive director of the West Plains Chamber of Commerce. Wyss began Jan. 20. “I get to promote the region — the West Plains is a very diverse mix of independent small businesses. Patrick Bell was named the new state executive director Jan. 6. He previously served as state executive director during President Trump’s first term, appointed in 2019.
