Due to the weather, school has been cancelled for the full week for all the local schools. Also included has been after school events such as games (Spring Hill, Nevada), a Cub Scout meeting (Nevada), Battle of the Bands (Prescott), Quiz Bowl (Prescott), Soccer Media Day (Hope) and a millage discussion (Hope). Nevada School District put together a slideshow of staff enjoying the snow day. They include sledding, making a snow angel and many poses. Blevins has a picture of a coach pulling a sled, another one of a coach ski jumping over a bus and a coach lifting weights in the snow.
