The letter explained: "The National Trust for Scotland has owned your property and other residential properties in Culross for many decades now. Many properties in Culross are currently under the ownership of the trust. "The trust has therefore decided that it will, on a case-by-case basis, consider selling residential properties in Culross, as and when they become vacant, in particular, bus also when appropriate to do so. The trust said properties will be valued and sold at the market rate. He added: "The trust will continue to manage its portfolio of residential properties in Culross, and of course, remains committed to the conservation of Culross and playing a full part in this."
