SANTA CRUZ COUNTY — In the predawn chill Thursday morning, over 100 volunteers spread across Santa Cruz County for the annual homelessness Point-in-Time Count, led by the county’s Housing for Health Partnership. The Housing for Health Partnership, Santa Cruz County’s federally designated continuum of care, is required to conduct a count every two years. The team started near the Santa Cruz Harbor, driving through Live Oak and the 7th Avenue area.
