The Kentucky Meat Shower FestivalWith this being the 150th anniversary of the meat shower, a celebration was in order, and it will happen at the end of February, near the anniversary date. On Saturday, February 28th, from noon to 6 PM, the Bath County Memorial Library in Owingsville, Kentucky, will host the Kentucky Meat Shower Festival, complete with vendors, games, giveaways, and (gulp) tasty treats to sample.
