The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has assured passengers of continued comfort and accessibility at Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, despite ongoing large-scale rehabilitation.
Managing Director of FAAN, Mrs Olubunmi Kuku, gave the assurance on Wednesday after inspecting the newly constructed temporary departure terminal.
She said the temporary terminal would serve passengers during the planned closure of Terminal One for comprehensive rehabilitation works.
Kuku stressed the urgency of the project, noting that Terminal One had operated for over 48 years without major improvement.
According to her, the project is prioritised by President Bola Tinubu’s administration, recognising Lagos as the nation’s premier aviation gateway.
