James Ray Hildenbrand “Hildy”, 74, of Ferdinand, passed away on Monday, January 26, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. He married Brenda Gehlhausen on June 15, 1974, in St. Ferdinand Church. He was a member of Christ the King Parish, St. Ferdinand Church, and its St. Joseph’s Sodality. James served in the Indiana National Guard and was a member of the Ferdinand American Legion Post 124. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. EST at St. Ferdinand Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
