The Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, Nagaland, won the first prize in the Exhibition Stalls category during the 77th Republic Day celebrations held at the Nagaland Civil Secretariat Plaza, Kohima, on January 26.. The Department of Land Resources and the Department of Sericulture secured the second and third positions respectively in the same category. The programme was graced by home commissioner and principal secretary to the Chief Minister, Abhijit Sinha, as the chief guest. In the Parade Contingent (Non-Uniformed) category, NCC (Girls) emerged winners, with NCC (Boys) and Bharat Scouts & Guides securing second and third positions respectively. Band displays were presented by the 13 Assam Rifles Pipe Band, Nagaland Police PTS Brass Band, and Nagaland Police Auxiliary Brass Band.
