It was then that she was hit and injured by a dark blue vehicle reversing from a drive way.
"It is believed occupants of a white van witnessed the incident whilst giving way at the Charlotte Street junction.
A spokesperson said: "Around 3pm on Wednesday, 28 January we were made aware of a crash involving a car and a female pedestrian on Charlotte Street, Helensburgh.
